Meet Our Providers

David Neville, Au. D., F-AAA

Dr. Neville is a new audiologist working with Vista Hearing Systems. He moved to the north-eastern Ohio area in July of 2017 from Michigan where he worked at a specialty clinic for ear disorders. In this previous position, he was exposed to hundreds of patients with complex hearing loss. While challenges with hearing are personal, this type of patient exposure helps him to deal with the most intricate hearing losses for his new patients in Mentor, OH. Communication difficulties are very dear to Dr. Neville’s heart. He is the father of a child with special needs, including speech and receptive language disorders. This sparked Dr. Neville to learn more about language diffi culties in general at Eastern Michigan University, where he earned a B.S. in communication disorders. He went on to get his doctorate in audiology at Wayne State University.

Karilyn Ryder, Au.D.

Dr. Karilyn Ryder received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Miami University in 2013.  She attended the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium in Akron, Ohio, where she received her doctorate in audiology in 2017.   As part of her clinical training, she worked with a diverse team of audiologists and Ear, Nose & Throat physicians in Youngstown, OH.  Dr. Ryder developed a passion for the journey to better hearing and focuses her practice on including the patients’ loved ones in hearing aid fittings.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and follows the latest research journals in audiology.
